Take the path between the Dining Hall and the brook, and walk towards Lake Vreeland. Named after one of the founders of the camp, it was formed at the junction of North and South Brooks when the Kidde-Miller Dam was built.

The dam was built of concrete and then covered with earth. While the dam was being built, Scouts had to come to the lake with a large stone if they wanted to swim. These stones and the concrete formed the dam.
