Back on our tour, we pass the boat house and a latrine on the right. We'll take our time, while you examine the "latrine facilities".

To the left of the road is the water front (for boating) and the swimming area. Lake Vreeland is a man-made lake created when the dam was built in the early days of camp. Today it's stocked with fish just waiting to nibble on your hook. Fishing is done on the other (Library) side of lake so swimmers and fishing hooks don't meet. Why not rent a boat and drift out on the lake or see what the fish in the lake's center are like.
