Lake Vreeland Spillway

As the North and South Brooks feed the lake, the spillway allows water to flow out into the stream that runs down to the river. During the summer, when water is scarce, the spillway drys up as does the brook. Since this picture was taken, renovations to the spillway and the walls of the brook were made.

This is a view of the spillway from the lake side.
