The Camp Flag Pole is located between the Council Fire Ring and the lake. It was originally part of a Navy Ship.

The flag pole is dedicated to the memory of Air Force Lt. Elliot R. Knott, an Eagle Scout from Troop 4 in Montclair, NJ.

An event ends at camp as the flag comes down. Cannon smoke can be seen as Steve looks on, Bill salutes and David lowers the flag.
