The Old Guard of Camp Glen Gray was founded in 1918 by Frank Fellows Gray. "Uncle" Frank, founder of Boy Scouting in America and founder of our Camp in 1917, created the Old Guard to assist him in the functioning of Camp. In addition to helping younger Scouts, the Old Guard also helped preserve and promote the Camp.
Following this tradition, the modern Old Guard is comprised of men and women whose unique contributions to Camp Glen Gray have been recognized and honored by lifetime membership in the Old Guard. With this membership comes a committment to continue to support Camp Glen Gray and the Scouting movement.
