Camp
Glen GrayMothercroft Photos

Mothercroft was constructed in 1922 as an activities lodge that provided shelter from the weather. It was named in honor of the Boy Scout Mothers in Montclair that helped raise money for its construction.
It is located just up the hill from the Old Guard Fire Ring. Half walls allow lots of fresh air. The building is 45' wide by 30' deep.
In warm weather, water is available just outside the building. A latrine
is about 100 feet away further up the hill towards the Beaverville leanto
site.

Inside Mothercroft, you can see the half walls. Lots of tables inside
allow you to run activities.

You can see the lake from inside. For sleeping, Mothercroft has two
lofts, each 30' wide by 9' deep. The building also
has electricity and lights as well as a fireplace.
