Camp Glen Gray

Handicapped Camping at Glen Gray

Visitors should be aware that the camp consists of very hilly and rough terrain. We will make every effort to accomodate those seeking to enjoy our facility. All of the roads in camp are unpaved with dirt or rough gravel surfaces.

Gilwell

The Gilwell Cabin upper entrance is ramped. The upper room has several bunks. Steps connect the upper room with the main room. The main room entrance has a set of steps.

Also in the Gilwell site are eight leantos that have entrance ramps. The leantos are 11' wide by 10' feet deep and have a roof and three walls with an open front wall.

An accessible latrine completes the site.

Bendict

The entrance to Benedict Cabin is ramped. This cabin consists of a large room and two smaller rooms all on one level. This cabin shares the use of the latrine located in the Gilwell site.

Getting Into Camp

In order to go from the parking lot up to these sites requires CAMP PROVIDED truck transportation. You must contact camp to insure availability of transportation. Transportation is influenced by weather, vehicle and driver availability.
