Glen Gray Gilwell Cabin
Gilwell cabin is part of the Gilwell campsite adjacent to Mary Post Field. There are 8 leantos and a latrine in the site as well. A brook runs right past the cabin. The cabin and leantos are rented separately.
Gilwell Cabin has two rooms, a sleeping/kitchen room and an upper sleeping room. The cabin has electricity and lighting. A wood stove heats the cabin during the winter. There are also bunks with mattresses for sleeping. The upper room has bunks for sleeping and the entrance door is ramped. Several steps connect the upper and lower rooms. The cabin has 14 bunks.
This campsite is handicapped accessible by prior arrangement
with the camp. A vehicle can bring handicapped campers up to
the site (weather permitting and when a driver is available).
Please contact the camp for detailed information.
The cabin's kitchen area has lots of counter space, a sink
and a four burner stove. In warm weather, the cabin's sink
has running water.
