Gaipa Leanto

The newest site in camp, the E. Scott Gaipa Memorial leanto pays tribute to a man who was a Scoutmaster as well as a former president of the Old Guard of Glen Gray.

The leanto is located just below the Gilwell site and between the Amphitheatre and the Hemlock Chapel. Its easily reached by walking through the Amphitheatre.

The structure is as unique as Scott was, containing six bunks, a counter, a table with benches, electricity and electric lights.

Here you can see a view of the inside of the leanto. The site also contains tent platforms, another picnic table, a fire ring and running water in season.
