Located within a 45-minute drive of New Jersey's major cities, more than 5,000 youth visited Camp glen Gray in 2000. During the summer, Cub Scouts and their families shared outdoor experiences together on its 820 acres. During the school year, Scouts camp and hike at Glen gray with their troops. The camp is also used for Scout skill competitions.

Here. Essex County Scouts test their outdoor, first aid, and teamwork skills at January's "Klondike Derby."
