Directions to Camp Glen Gray from the Jersey City/Newark Area, Southern NJ or Delaware:

  1. From the Garden State Parkway -or- the NJ Turnpike
    1. Take the Garden State Parkway North to exit 160. At end of exit ramp, make a left and go 0.6 miles following the signs for Route 208 North
    2. Take the NJ Turnpike North to Route I-80 West to Route 17 North to Route 4 West. Just past the Garden State Parkway, Route 4 turns into Route 208 North.
  2. Take Route 208 North for 11.3 miles (turns into I-287 South) to Exit 58, marked Route 202, Oakland
  3. At end of exit ramp (at the light), turn right onto Route 202 North
  4. Take Route 202 North 1.5 miles to Glen Gray Road (see the Glen Gray sign opposite the road on the right just like the logo at the top of this page)
  5. Turn left onto Glen Gray Road and go over the steel bridge
  6. Turn right onto Midvale Mountain Road
  7. Take this road for 0.6 miles. Bear left at the fork into the camp entrance.

Directions to Camp Glen Gray from the Verona area:

  1. Take Pompton Avenue North (Route 23) from Bloomfield Avenue
  2. Stay on Route 23, across Routes 46 and 80, beyond Wayne/Packanack Lake area to Route I-287 North
  3. Take Route I-287 North to Exit 58, marked Route 202, Oakland
  4. At end of exit ramp (at the light), turn left for 0.2 miles to next light (keep left)
  5. Turn left at this light onto Route 202 North
  6. Take Route 202 North 1.9 miles to Glen Gray Road (see the Glen Gray sign opposite the road on the right just like the logo at the top of this page)
  7. Turn left onto Glen Gray Road and go over the steel bridge
  8. Turn right onto Midvale Mountain Road
  9. Take this road for 0.6 miles. Bear left at the fork into the camp entrance.

Directions to Camp Glen Gray from Northern Bergen

  1. Take Route 17 to Route 202 South
  2. Take Route 202 South for 4.8 miles to Glen Gray Road (see the Glen Gray sign opposite the road on the left just like the logo at the top of this page)
  3. Turn right onto Glen Gray Road and go over the steel bridge
  4. Turn right onto Midvale Mountain Road
  5. Take this road for 0.6 miles. Bear left at the fork into the camp entrance.

Directions to Camp Glen Gray from West of the Garden State Parkway

  1. Take Route I-78 -or- Route 24 -or- Route I-80 East to I-287 North
  2. Follow directions above (from the Verona area, step 3)

Directions to Camp Glen Gray from Western NJ and Pennsylvania:

  1. Take Route I-80 East to I-287 North -or- Route I-78 East to I-287 North
  2. Follow directions above (from Verona area, step 3)

Directions to Camp Glen Gray from Northern and Western Passaic

  1. Take Route 23 South to Route I-287 North -or- Take Skyline Drive to Route I-287 South
  2. Follow directions below (from Eastern Bergen County or New York City, step 4)

Directions to Camp Glen Gray from Eastern Bergen County or New York City:

  1. If in New York City, Cross the George Washington Bridge
  2. Take Route 4 West past Route 17 and the Garden State Parkway and take Route 208 North
  3. Take Route 208 North about 11.5 miles. Follow sign to Route I-287 South
  4. Take Route I-287 South to Exit 58, marked Route 202, Oakland
  5. At end of exit ramp (at the light), turn right onto Route 202 North
  6. Take Route 202 North 1.5 miles to Glen Gray Road (see the Glen Gray sign opposite the road on the right just like the logo at the top of this page)
  7. Turn left onto Glen Gray Road and go over the steel bridge
  8. Turn right onto Midvale Mountain Road
  9. Take this road for 0.6 miles. Bear left at the fork into the camp entrance.

  1. Take Route I-87 South (NY Thruway) to Route I-287 South, at Suffern
  2. Take Route I-287 South to Exit 58, marked Route 202, Oakland

  1. Take Route I-287 South across the Tappan Zee Bridge
  2. Continue on Route I-287 South to Exit 58, marked Route 202, Oakland
