Spring  2012 Merit  Badge  fair

At Camp Glen Gray, Mahwah, NJ

On Saturday, May 19, 2012.   Celebrating 95 years!

No reservations accepted after April 1st.

 

  

Cost to participate:   $10 per scout plus camping fee.  This event is for camping scouts only.   This will be an all day event, starting with registration at 8 am and ending at 4 PM.   Limited to the first 180 scouts.  In case event is not filled by April 1st , we will accept individual scouts participating for the day only. Waitlisted till then.

 

1)    We will repeat the successful 1st year scout program, volunteers needed.

 

2)    Merit badge offering will attract all 3 levels of scouts.  Some badges are started this day

Others can be completed IF prerequisites are done beforehand.   

 

3)    We will offer a few Eagle required badges.     Offered to scouts who need to start on a badge.  These badges cannot be completed at camp! 

We will not be able to work with scouts with Eagle required partials at camp. 

 

4)    We will offer service projects to older scouts needing service hours for rank advancement, and anyone else in the mood to lend a hand with this or that.

 

>Secure your Troops participation by remitting enclosed form and $25.00 deposit (refundable up to April 1)

>Make separate camping reservation.     

>MB Fair registration includes participation in the event, an event patch, some materials but not all.  Signing up for the Merit Badge Fair includes neither a camping reservation nor camping fee or any meals.

 

 Detailed information and a schedule will be given to all registered units.

 Individual representation from a unit or small groups will be combined with other units in campsites. 

 

*****We gladly accept trained, registered volunteer counselors, call or write undersigned ASAP

 

Click here to get response form and then please respond to this invitation by return mail.  Space is limited and first come, first served.  You must remit the reservation form with your deposit to get onto the list of participants.   Once we hit the anticipated 180 participants, reservations will be closed and you will be put on the standby list.
