Approximately 32 volunteers provided more than 240 man hours to Camp Glen Gray. The much needed replacement of the Dining Hall bridge was accomplished, along with a new fence at the base of the dam, propane lights in Price Cabin, and a complete new roof (rafters included) on the tool shed. A hearty 'thank you' goes out to the boys and adults of Boy Scout Troop 23 Bloomfield, the Old Guard and Venture Crew 100 for their help. Without the support of our 'friends', the camp would not be in as great a shape as it is now.

Much more work is still needed, so mark the dates for the fall: Saturday, September 29th. As it has been done, lunch will be provided for our workers and it's a free weekend of camping here at the 'Glen'. You cannot begin to know how much those words, 'I never knew such a beautiful camp , so close, existed', I have been hearing as campmaster, really mean to me.

Whether you are part of a unit, a cabin sponsor, service organization, or an interested person, we need your help and support to make this workday a success. We will coordinate the various projects to put you (and your crew) in the best areas according to skills and areas desired to work in. Once the project is assigned, you will receive a detailed description of the work needed to be done. We encourage you to bring any tools necessary to complete this task. The camp, for this project, will supply all necessary materials. Like last year, lunch will be provided for all workers (will need an accurate head count from your crew).
